About Gillian Murray
Gillian has worked in Aesthetic Medicine Practice since 2014 in addition to holding both a senior lecturer and clinical academic position at Kings College London University. Her latter role involves research and supporting the delivery of clinically enhanced prescribing programme (CEPIP) for nurse practitioners and advanced clinical pharmacists.
Gillian is a highly experienced practitioner in dealing with complications and supporting practitioners in the U.K. and internationally, having held a position on ACE (Aesthetic Complications Expert) and she was a founding board member of CMAC (Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative), the latter assisting practitioners globally.
Gillian has specialist interest in hypersensitivity reactions in aesthetics, Covid related complications, hyaluronic acid gel chemistry, rheology and behaviour and through her position at KCL, she is currently undertaking research towards her PhD.
Gillian has already lead and co-authored publications relating to vascular occlusions, hyaluronidase, delayed onset nodules, acute bacterial and herpes infections, facial wounds and dermal filler rheology.
